PE headed into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

It has just been announced that Public Enemy will be officially inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame on April 18, 2013. The ceremony will be held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California.

The revolutionary group made up of Chuck D, Flavor Flav, Terminator X and DJ Lord, Professor Griff and The S1W's has been pushing the musical envelope for years, with their early classics produced by The Bomb Squad.

Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five were inducted into The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 2007, Run-DMC were inducted in 2009 and the Beastie Boys were inducted just last year.

Other inductees for 2013 include Rush, Randy Newman and Heart. Albert King who passed away in 1992, and the late, great Donna Summer who passed away this past May will also be inducted. Quincy Jones and Lou Adler will both receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award for non-performers.
